This is a list of some of the most popular guided wildlife trips that run regularly in this area. Full details of all trips are sent to Guests upon booking a stay at the Grant Arms Hotel. Trips can be booked directly but please mention BWWC - we advise booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
Guided Safaris
Glenlivet Wildlife Safaris
Land Rover safaris exploring the wildlife-rich Glenlivet Estate, focusing on the area’s seasonal wildlife (e.g. ‘Waders & Waterfowl’ in spring / ‘Red Deer Rut’ in autumn).
Meeting Point: Glenlivet Estate (BWWC Map Site 28).
Cost: £30pp – approx. 3½ hours. Dates: Thursdays & Sundays (all year).

Highland Wildlife & Birdwatch Safaris
Half or full day guided safaris customised to your requirements – whether you fancy a multi-habitat experience looking for local specialties, are aiming for ’life-ticks’ or want a day filming/photographing a few chosen species.
Meeting Point: Pick-up/drop-off at the Grant Arms Hotel.
Cost: from £8pp per hour, depending on group size and length of safari (max. 6 people).

Deeside Nature Activities
Half or full day guided safaris offered throughout the Highlands but specialising in the Deeside area – the sometimes under-rated wildlife watching location of the Cairngorms National Park.

Birding Ecosse
Half or full day guided wildlife tours tailored to the species you would like to see in the habitats you choose to visit.

Guided Walks
Walking in Scotland
Half or full day guided walks throughout the Cairngorms National Park and surrounding Highlands, with walks tailored to your fitness level in a location of your choice. Walks can also include a wildlife theme.
