The Grant Arms Hotel is the perfect venue for birdwatching, wildlife or walking Club visits. With 50 en-suite bedrooms, wonderful food, our Club Room, Natural History Library and 100-seat lecture theatre, we can accommodate most groups.
At the Grant Arms we realise that organising group trips can be time consuming, so we try to make it as easy as possible.
Just decide on the dates you'd like to visit and then contact us. We can put a reservation on the number of rooms you are likely to want (subject to availability) at our Special Group Rate.
All you then need to do is provide your members with the dates of the visit and our details, advising them to book with us direct. To get the Special Group Rate they just have to say they are a member of your Club/Group when booking. When it's time for you to leave we can bill everyone separately, so you don't have to collect any money at all. It's as simple as that!

CLUB MEMBER FEEDBACK:
"We had a really lovely week in Grantown and were impressed by the facilities the hotel provided for the wildlife watchers...However, the highlight of the week was when four of us ventured into the Cairngorms, walking from Loch Morlich to Rothiemurchus Lodge and cutting across to join the Lairig Ghru...we glanced behind us and were amazed to see a cock capercaillie on the path just a few yards away."
Yvonne & Keverne Piper, Tynedale U3A Group.
"From the minute we entered we were met with a friendly greeting...The food was of a very high standard throughout our stay and the dining room staff were excellent. The theme of the Hotel in promoting not only the abundant Birdlife but the whole Ecology of the area is something that Grantown on Spey has required for many years. They now have it."
Anne & Joe, Forth Valley RSPB Group.
"We had a varied itinerary, with high expectations for a range of locations and their wildlife. In almost all cases we achieved the goals we had set...Many individuals have expressed the intention of returning to stay with you, and as a society we will be back at some time in the future. We wish you continuing success with your venture to provide quality service and support to natural history groups such as ours."
Neville Crowther, President of Edinburgh Natural History Society.
"Bridget and I had the superb experience of staying with you for 6 nights as part of a walking group...We would just like to say what a fabulous time we had at the Grant Arms. All the staff were great, the facilities perfect and the food delicious. Our expectations were far exceeded and we can't wait to come back."
Alan and Bridget Farrell.
